I checked the FDA website for the nutritional info on these - I've had a gastric bypass and have to take calcium every day but it HAS to be Calcium CITRATE - NOT CARBONATE. I couldn't find anywhere in the description of these about the type of calcium, hence the FDA site search.
These are Calcium CARBONATE - not the CITRATE These are not acceptable for gastric bypass patients.
My wife and I have had problems with swallowing large pills. These are chewable and taste like tootsie rolls. They are easy to get down and have eliminated the cramps that we would get in our legs.
